The department of “Social and Legal Sciences” is an inheritor  of the former Law Faculty which within a period of two decades provided students with wide range of knowledge and skills in humanitarian, legal and social sciences.

All the graduates of the Law Faculty are 5709 students which are now notable professional as lawyers, judges, prosecutors, professors in law.

In 2007 the Law Faculty has been restructured into the nowadays department of Social and Legal Sciences.
